Grand opening of Begner Test Center and Workshop

On 11 February, we will host the grand opening of our new Test Center and Workshop in Falun, Sweden.
We open the doors to our new workshop where the future of industry is demonstrated in practice. During the day, we will demonstrate industrial solutions within metal cutting, blasting, 3D arc welding (WAAM), measurement systems and process verification, from testing and demonstrations to prototypes and on-demand production in a real industrial environment.
Come and see our machines, meet and connect with industry peers, and take part in technical discussions directly in our new workshop. Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the day.

What is WAAM?
WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) is a metal additive manufacturing process within the Direct Energy Deposition (DED) technology group, based on arc welding. A metal wire is continuously melted in an electric arc and deposited layer by layer to build the component.
The process enables the efficient production of large metal parts, complex geometries, prototypes, and custom designs. WAAM is also well suited for repair applications and on-demand manufacturing with short lead times.
During our Open House, WAAM will be demonstrated in practice with our arc80x machine from GEFERTEC.
