New System Engineer at iba Nordic

We’re pleased to welcome Edvard Sand as a new System Engineer at Begner! 
Edvard joins our measurement and analysis team, iba Nordic, where we deliver systems and services for measurement, data acquisition, and analysis to the industry and energy sectors.

We asked Edvard a few quick questions after his first few days:

Hi Edvard! How has your first time at Begner been so far?
– Hey there! I’ve gotten a really good first impression – a lot to learn, of course, but I have very helpful colleagues who support me whenever I run into problems.

Can you briefly tell us what you’ve done previously?
– I previously worked at a smelting plant in Hofors, where my main responsibilities were maintenance and development. A lot of PLC programming and quite a bit of electrical design.

What attracted you to Begner?
– I wanted more direct customer interaction and an opportunity to grow. Begner felt like a perfect fit.

What drives you in your work?
– Being able to contribute to improving processes and customer competence motivates me – that’s when I feel I’m making a real difference.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
– I like to stay active – training takes up a lot of my time.
