Enhanced data acquisition from ABB controllers

Improved connection to AC800M and AC800PEC controllers thanks to new ABB-Xplorer

Access to all variables of an ABB controller - automatically and comfortably: With the new ABB-Xplorer, iba AG improves the interface of the established data analysis tool ibaPDA to ABB controllers. With this, the variables of an AC800M or AC800PEC controller can be read out directly via the project data, recorded user-specifically and then be analyzed.

For users, this means not only simplified handling via symbolic access, but also enormous time savings, since variables no longer have to be declared manually and transferred separately via interfaces, as was the case in the past. The prerequisite for symbolic access is that the corresponding project data is available. Thus, iba extends the connectivity of the versatile measuring software ibaPDA. Calculated characteristic values in ibaPDA can furthermore be output to the controllers in real time.
